Here's a link to the report on last night's 11:00 news.
Part 2-- on the inaction of the Town Council-- will air tonight.
Part 3 covers the social and economic costs. The economic impact alludes to "externalities". When you do stuff with your property-- and it impacts the value of my property (negatively or positively)-- it imposes a cost (or benefit) on those external to the decision-makers.
One can certainly question these sort of laws. But if you're going to have them, and it's not prohibitively difficult to enforce them, then they should be enforced. Period!
You are an idiot and have no clue about what it means to be a true libertarian. We believe in individual liberties and you are a religious bigot! There will always be a need for places like Theatair X in a FREE society!
ReplyDeleteIndividual liberties? Yes, without doing direct and significant harm to others, right?
ReplyDeleteReligious bigot? Where's the hate? How would you self-label after calling me an idiot! ;-)
A need? There will tend to be supply to meet demand-- if it can be accomplished at an effective price/cost. Whether that demand will last-- or whether it is laudable-- is not something to which Libertarians can speak.
