the "four-eyed fish"!

Dave didn't make this point directly. But you can definitely see how this sort of creature [with its eyes and mating reqs] could evolve...well, if you have a *very* active imagination and a lot of faith in evolutionary mechanisms. As for me, I'd rather use logic, Science, and reason.
"They have eyes raised above the top of the head and divided in two different parts, so that they can see below and above the water surface at the same time. Like their relatives, the one-sided livebearers, four-eyed fishes only mate on one side, right-'handed' males with left-'handed' females and vice versa."
