I started pulling for them because I liked their colors at age 5 and my dad liked them second to the Packers.

Of course their ownership at one point was less than desirable.

As I've grown older and gained wisdom and insight, I've become less of a team sports fan and more about following players. Often I'm dissappointed by what my team's fans, ownership or management may do in a given situation. Free agency in sports has players bouncing around everywhere, and makes it tough to stick with a team.

My point is this:

I liked the Pats when they first cam on the scene. Vinitieri, Troy Brown, Vrablic, Brady to mention a few. They seemed to win with hard work and a core of committed players.

Over time they became so tough to pull for. I always found myself pulling for them to beat the colts and the last two years it seemed as if the Colts were my favorite team. The false sense of humility they display in the media, and their lack of any joy in the game make it easier to pull against them than for them.

One does have to question their methods of video taping and the way they handle injury reports.

I was happy to see the Giants win and predicted it after they beat the Packers. I had mentioned the possibility before the week 17 game. The Giants like the Eagles and Ravens can bring lots of defensive looks and they can pressure the QB. Something that the Pats only faced a few games this year. It happens to be the few games they almost lost.Bryce Raleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08627938386522776478noreply@blogger.com
