the new strategy in Iraq?

An article in yesterday's LA Times indicates that the Bush administration (or at least General Petraeus) may be pursuing a version of the Lind strategy.

Another resource: Anthony Cordesman appeared on the Charlie Rose show to talk about his new report on Iraq. On TV, and when Cordesman spoke at IUS a few months ago, I'd say he has an odd sort of charisma. He speaks with knowledge, apparent wisdom, and authority.
