I don't really have much to add-- except to say that I can't see how the public is served well by distracting legislation which is not thought out well.

From my op-ed piece last week, there are legitimate reasons to be concerned about the extent to which the Daniels' plan would be an improvement-- short-term and long-term. And it'd nice to have some important questions answered about the Miller plan. But the Bauer effort is not any step forward...
