D'Souza coming to Indy

Dinesh D'Souza To Speak in Indianapolis
6 p.m., March 24 at Crossroads Bible College

Dinesh D’Souza, a Hoover Institution scholar and New York Times best-selling author, will talk on "What's So Great About Christianity" at 6 p.m. March 24 at the Crossroads Bible College, 601 North Shortridge Road, Indianapolis. The talk is free to the public. The speaker will be available for scheduled media interviews before the address or at the college afterward.

D’Souza, born in Bombay, India, debated Alan Colmes on the Hannity & Colmes television show. More recently he debated Christopher Hitchens, the atheist and writer, at the prestigious Ethical Culture Society in New York City.

D'Souza takes the position that it makes no sense to argue the Bible with atheists, who by definition reject the credibility of the source. Rather, he approaches the topic as one might a public-policy debate, applying logic, history and science to both the affirmative and negative sides. The result is a talk that challenges the assumptions of believers and doubters alike and attempts to affirm that there really is, indeed, something great about Christianity.
