Here's what I sent an acquaintance of mine who is (publicly) active in the social morality arena...

With the fall of Eliot Spitzer yesterday, I’m reminded of how often it seems that crusaders in the moral arena fall prey, ironically, to identical or similar sins.

I don’t know you from Adam. So, I don’t intend any offense to you, but do you have significant forms of accountability in place? In any case, if there comes a time when you feel yourself ranging down that slippery slope, please do the Kingdom (and your cause) a big favor and get out.
