DC graduation #5

Last night, we had our fifth DC graduation at Southeast Christian Church.

This one featured:
-9 groups of 71 men from SE (including our 1st So. IN group)
-our second women's group at SE with eight grads
-our first non-SE, local church DC group (at Crestwood Baptist) with ten grads (this follows on the heels of the first non-local DC graduation in April in Mason, OH)

The ceremony is always inspiring, especially the testimonies of changed lives (in various ways) and the interesting and impressive group life that typically emerges in a DC group.

And seeing a large group of people who have put in that kind of work-- about five hours of study per week and a 1.5-hour weekly small group meeting-- over 21 months is inspiring. Seeing people persevere is rewarding, especially since we live in culture and sadly within a Church that often does not persevere past even mild challenges.

The Lord has used DC to do some awesome things. To God be the glory-- great things He has done!
