Palin vs. Obama's "inexperience" revisited

My prediction about Palin's "inexperience" being an (ironic) asset has come true-- in spades!

I never imagined that so many media types and even Obama himself would spend so much time on the topic-- and so much time comparing a presidential candidate to a vice-presidential candidate. But they couldn't let it pass by relatively quietly.

The results are hilarious-- and potentially potent politically! How much it seems to diminish Obama-- and with McCain staying above the fray...

I have to give credit to you for reading this correctly; I thought her inexperience would reflect poorly on McCain for choosing her but not draw attention to Obama's lack of experience because of his compelling performance in his acceptance speech. But she delivered a rousing acceptance speech that showed the Democrats she is not to be underestimated.

On the other hand, Jon Stewart presents a wonderful juxtaposition of video clips of Karl Rove commenting on experience (Palin's and Obama's). This is (I am afraid to say) quite funny:
Sarah Palin Gender Card.

That's not as funny as it is sad...

Wow...brutal; that's politics for you!

Actually, the Dick Morris and Sarah Palin blurbs are not applicable.

Morris talked about Hillary playing the gender card; Palin talked more broadly about women playing the card to defend themselves.

But Palin hasn't done that at all so far. (She was, somewhat famously, "in hiding" since being chosen.) Moreover, I'd be surprised to hear her do it; she doesn't seem like the type.
