two ridiculous paragraphs (from Bush and the UAW)
One from an AP article in the C-J and ascribed to the Bush administration...
With Congress deadlocked and the economy foundering, the Bush administration declared yesterday it would step in to prevent the "precipitous collapse" of the U.S. auto industry and the loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs sure to follow.
Hundreds of thousands of jobs? I don't think so. Again, is this remarkable ignorance or craven manipulation?
The other from another wire service article in the C-J entitled "UAW head says GOP senators targeted union"...
United Auto Workers President Ron Gettelfinger said yesterday that Senate Republicans' refusal to vote for $14 billion in loans to General Motors and Chrysler was an effort to bust the union.
Dude, you're busting yourself-- and wanting to bust taxpayers...

Doesn't matter if it's true or that you have any data whatsoever to back up what you are saying - if you just repeat it often enough it will become the truth.
