A Matter Of Choice: A Conversation with Dr. Eli Goldratt on the Reality of the Current Economy and What We Can Do Immediately to Improve the Situation
The subprime fiasco ignited a credit crisis, and the overreaction to the credit crisis has propelled us into an economic crisis in which more and more people are losing their jobs every day.
Companies, gripped by the fear that is inspired by the daily news reports of a worsening situation, reduce their workforce in their efforts to protect cash reserves and profits, or minimize losses.
The resulting spiral is creating the self fulfilling prophesy of an economy that continues to deteriorate, and a turnaround predicted further and further into the future.
What really bothers us is that this does not have to be the case.
We invite you to join us in a 2-hour conversation with Dr. Eliyahu Goldratt, in which he will share his analysis on
· the reality of the economic situation
· the impact on the various business sectors involved in the production, distribution, wholesale and retail of goods and services
· the unfortunate invalid conclusions most businesses have reached and the damage caused by the resulting actions taken
· the way out – the choices businesses can make instead, to rapidly take their organizations back on a healthy course, without the need to cut jobs

Would be great to see Eli speak in person. I watched one of these events on the web and did a review at http://www.gavrielshaw.com/post/407/
