my NCAA picks: from glory to dust
I started out 40-8 in the first two rounds, with 13 of the 16 in the Sweet Sixteen.
Then it got ugly...
4-4 in the Sweet 16-- and then, 0-4 in the Elite 8 (and thus, 0-3 the rest of the way).
So, I'm done!
Final record: 44-19.

Take heart....there's always next year, March in particular. Meanwhile, ponder whether or not the practice of "bracketing" might well be sinful despite the reasons not being "patently obvious" pro or con. Likely some cosmic anti-sports killjoy is up there chuckling.
For those interested in the context for Don's comments, you can follow the thread (particularly, posts 18-20) at: http://www.masson.us/blog/?p=4935&cpage=1#comment-882151
Including, perhaps, an in-depth look at the burning question: Why didn't Jesus have anything to say about NCAA picks when Barak Obama had not problem in doing so.
OK, OK....to much time on my hands!
Besides, I would think that next time around your selection of the Final Four would be "patently obvious": Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Given that, is there a corresponding Elite Eight? Sweet Sixteen....ad infinitum.....
Only Heaven knows.... (:
Sounds like my bracket. 13-16 in sweet sixteen and none in final four.
Louisville, Memphis, Pittsburg and Gonazaga
I should burn my bracket so no one ever stumbles upon it.
