Thanks for coming! I plan to post a lot of interesting articles and comment on a wide range of things-- from political to religious, from private to public, from formal writing on public policy to snippets on random observations.
Well, almost. Prior to Sarah Palin, whatever you may think of her, say "Alaska" and Eskimos (or perhaps a references to selling iceboxes to them) clearly seemed the number one instant response. An occasional polar bear maybe, and I guess depending on the year some black oil slicks from the Exxon Valdez might have livened up the competition.
But now, Alaska means only one person.
How long that will last is, of course, the real polling question.
