On the top of the Forum section, an article by the WaPo's Zachary Goldfarb condemning Madoff's Ponzi scheme and the SEC's failure to catch it.

On the bottom of the same Forum section, an op-ed by Ellen Goodman, asking why Republicans are "operating one of those marketing scams that target the elderly"-- in questioning the solvency of Medicare and the increased rationing of health care for the elderly under ObamaCare.
