a hideous opening half for the NCAA Women's Championship

As good as the NCAA Men's Championship was last night...

And surely hoping for a showcase between the top two Women's teams-- Stanford and juggernaut Connecticut-- the first half was brutal, especially for the Huskies.

Stanford leads 20-12.

The two teams combined for 13-60 FG shooting (22%) and 1-6 FT shooting (17%)-- and as many turnovers as FG.

BRUTAL...Hopefully, it'll be better in the second half!
