The Good Place

Tonia and I finished "The Good Place" last night. Clever, funny, provocative, worldly, theological, etc.

If I understand, the show writers...
1a.) rejected "being good enough" for salvation as rightfully absurd
1b.) substituted "growing (enough?) in morality and loving others" for salvation (not as absurd, but still incoherent; #GraceRules)
2a.) rejected a largely-static idea of Heaven
2b.) embraced a dynamic-but-still-quite-finite idea of Heaven (not nearly as pathetic or absurd, but not as coherent or wonderful as an infinitely-dynamic Heaven)
