Brown County with my brown-eyed beauty

Sorry for the two-day lapse in blogging on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tonia and I got away for two days for our annual trip without kids. (Thanks to my in-laws for watching them while we were gone!)

We chose Nashville/Brown County this year and had a wonderful time. It was very quiet there, with school just starting and IU's start a week away. We got a nice hotel room for $40-- and I think we were the only ones staying there. We found a lot good stuff at the Columbus/Edinburgh outlet malls and then in Nashville.

And most important, we got to spend some time alone, investing in our marriage.
