Edison's light bulbs
Gary DeMar made one other interesting point. And then I read something that relates to it. So, connecting the two...
DeMar also recommended two movies on Edison: Young Tom Edison and Edison the Man. DeMar also noted that Edison had to do more than merely invent a light bulb. With that in hand, he had to create a system to show that electricity was practical. So, he had to develop a city's infrastructure that would generate and use electricity.
What was that city? Wabash, Indiana!
1 Comments:
The Edison/Ford estate museum in Fort Meyers is one of the neatest tours I've been on.
