Baron Hill on vouchers-- some glorious; some evil
In his Veterans' Day email briefing to his constituents, Baron drew attention to the Congress enacting "a new GI Bill that provides our soldiers with a four-year, tuition-free college education".
Educational vouchers for veterans to attend the college of their choice is something to bag about.
But educational vouchers for the inner-city poor to attend the elementary or secondary school of their choice is something to be condemned?
I wish Baron would be "an independent voice" for Hoosiers, the poor, and for justice on this issue.
