more pro-life pop culture

Now, something I've never heard of at all. But still, an interesting observation on contemporary culture from Richard John Neuhaus in First Things...

ABC’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager may be as hackneyed as Alessandra Stanley of the New York Times says it is. But her review does not instill confidence. Amy, a fifteen-year-old, is pregnant. “Her friends tell her she has options, but abortion is apparently not one of them; that choice is dismissed right away in horrified tones.” Which obviously horrifies Ms. Stanley....
