Bilerico = NAMBLA Lite?

In a recent post, Bilerico glosses the Indiana Family Institute with the label "Westboro Baptist Lite". In the post, Bilerico takes IFI to task for its response to Westboro coming to Indy for some of its usual activities.

For those who are not familiar with the players, Bilerico is a blog run by an activist in the "LGBTQ community"; IFI is a Focus-on-the-Family-like group with a political arm; Westboro Baptist is a "church" which is famous for protesting at the funerals of homosexuals; and NAMBLA is the North American Man/Boy Love Association.

Bilerico's labeling is unfair to say the least.

In fact, any group on one end of a policy spectrum must deal with the perception that it is connected to the extreme end of that spectrum.

This would be akin to saying Bilerico = NAMBLA Lite.

(For the record, I tried to post something like this on their website as a comment, but without success. Perhaps I did something wrong.)
