good news for Hankins

From Wanda English Burnett in the Versailles Republican / Osgood Journal...

The seat for 9th District US Congressman that Democrat Baron Hill now holds, will also see competition with three candidates speaking at the Ripley County event. Mike Sodrel, who held the position for one term spoke, along with Todd Young and Travis Hankins. All gave a brief overview of their platform with Hankins garnering the most interruptions for applause.

A strong enough advantage to get her attention and to merit mention in the paragraph...Cool!

I'm not surprised, since Hankins is the most eloquent and principled candidate in the field. He does quite well in these settings.

It's also a good sign for his campaign, since he hopes/plans to dominate the northern part of the district
