Robert Pape, the author of Dying to Win: The Strategic Logic of Suicide Terrorism, is on the Francene Show on WHAS (840-AM) in Louisville-- apparently from 10-11 AM this morning. Pape is a professor of political science at the University of Chicago who has studied-- empirically and theoretically-- the phenomenon.

I will blog at length on his book in the coming weeks. It is excellent and provocative in light of our foreign policy and current events.
