Resa blows up the C-J!

A beautiful letter to the editor of the C-J from my friend Resa (who blogs at Jefferson Review)...

School choice

Your editorial argues that the Bluegrass Institute is wrong to promote school choice in Kentucky because test scores are beginning to show some improvement. That is like arguing that the abolitionists should not have opposed slavery because the owners were beginning to treat their slaves a bit better.

Oh so nice, in so many ways...I love the reference to the captive audience of a government-run entity with tremendous monopoly power, especially over the poor and middle classes, and a disproportionate impact on African-Americans and other minorities.
