an update on the creation museum...

A front-page article from Chris Kenning in this AM's C-J, updating readers on attendance at the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY...

I'm not going to get into the young-earth/old-earth or ID/evolution debates here. (It's far more interesting to me that the Bible can support either a young-earth or old-earth view.) But I did want to extend public kudos to Mr. Kenning for making an explicit distinction that is unfortunately uncommon (either out of ignorance or for rhetorical purposes).

Unlike "intelligent design," which purports that the universe was created by a "designer" but still accepts that it is billions of years old, young-Earth creationists believe the Bible's book of Genesis is exactly how the world was formed -- in six 24-hour days.
