The context: a football game between Faith Christian School in Grapevine, TX and youth from the Gainesville maximum-security correctional facility on 11/7.

...more than half of Faith Christian's fans filled the opposing bleachers of their home field to cheer the winless Tornadoes of Gainesville. They waved signs of support and rooted for Gainesville players by name even as they lost 33-14 to finish the season 0-9....

Each Gainesville player returned to the correctional facility that night with a burger and fries, a handwritten note of encouragement, and a Bible....

The story has had a national audience: ESPN columnist Rick Reilly and then NFL commissioner Roger Goodell invited Hogan to speak to coaches during Super Bowl week.
